Megaman Legends 2 [PSP]

Taking Mega Man further into RPG territory is MEGA MAN LEGENDS, where our blue clad hero finds himself searching for a strange girl and a legendary treasure, which has been discovered in an icy wasteland. The treasure Mega Man is after, the Sealed Key, is believed to unlock something known as the Great Legacy. You'll recognize most all the major characters from the previous games: Roll, the infamous Bonne family, the Servbots, the hyperactive monkey Data, and Glyde. This game takes the established franchise even further down the RPG route with a world map, airships, and plenty of dungeons to explore. But since this is a MEGA MAN game, action fans will still find plenty of stuff to blast.

Megaman X5 [PSP]

Mega Man returns for more wild action in MEGA MAN X5. This time around, terrorists have attacked an asteroid colony and turned off its artificial gravity. Now, it is up to Mega Man and his friend Zero to defeat the terrorists, turn the gravity on, and keep the colony from crashing into the Earth. The gameplay is what fans of the series have come to expect: Mega Man must use his blasters and bombs to make his way through eight levels of running, jumping, and shooting action. If you decide to play as Zero, you will have to use a plasma sword and some cunning to get through the same levels. In either case, the characters will have to face tough bosses that have unique abilities. Once a boss is defeated, Mega Man and Zero can utilize the boss's talents. Only Mega Man and Zero can save the colony and the Earth in MEGA MAN X5.

Megaman X4 [PSP]

MEGA MAN X4 marks a return to action for this popular franchise. The gameplay, as in all previous MEGA MAN titles, is challenging. Each level includes little secrets and unique terrain, and each new weapon or fighting move you learn will take practice before you can utilize them. The various enemies are sneaky and will put up quite a fight, although the real challenge comes at the end of each level with the huge bosses. The game allows you to play as two different characters, each with different sidekicks and weapons. The game plays differently for each character, almost giving you a two-for-one feeling. If you play as X, your experience will be very similar to the other MEGA MAN X games, while if you choose Zero, the story is pretty much the same, but you have to change your approach in battles and traversing the terrain.

Chocobo Racing [PSP]

Your only chance to race with classic Squaresoft characters is in CHOCOBO RACING. Play the Story mode and help Chocobo as he tries to win the pieces of the legendary Blue Crystal from the other racers, which include Mog, White Mage, Chubby Chocobo, and others. If you want racing without a story, hit one of the eight tracks in the Grand Prix, Time Attack, or Relay modes. However, none of these races are ordinary: racers can collect magic stones that will allow them to cast spells to slow down the competition. Collecting multiple stones of the same type allows the racer to cast more powerful spells. With all of the action in CHOCOBO RACING, you'll be wondering who let the Chocobo out.

Monster Rancher Battle Card: Episode II [PSP]

Monsters inhabit the world and are raised and trained to battle each other. Children who are too young to own monsters collect and battle with cards instead. You give a friend a Phoenix card for her birthday, which completes her set. Thanks to an unknown curse she is transported to Monster Paradise. Now you must travel through the world entering tournaments and playing other collectors to build another complete set in order to rescue her. To battle, you must build decks of cards that relate to the three monsters you are battling with. In each turn, you draw five cards; you then have to decide which cards to play and which to discard for GUTS points which are required to perform certain attacks. Will you be able to battle your way through the competition in MONSTER RANCHER BATTLE CARD: Episode II and save your friend?

Megaman Legends [PSP]

The game begins with MegaMan Volnutt, a Digger trying to exit a ruin after finding the refractor inside. After dealing with the Reaverbots blocking his way out, he makes his way to the Flutter, an airship which leaves the ruin. The Flutter doubles as a "home" for the Caskett family. This includes Roll Caskett, his Spotter, Barrel Caskett, their grandfather, and Data, a mysterious monkey that talks in gibberish only MegaMan himself can understand. However, the Flutter experiences some engine problems and crash lands on Kattelox Island. From there, the Caskett family tries to find a way to repair their ship. They also meet much antagonism from air pirates called the Bonnes. They consist of Teisel Bonne, the leader of the group. His sibling Tron, who is a mechanical genius and builds most of their robots used in their elegant schemes, and develops feelings for the main character. The last is Bon, who can only say one word—"Babu!" The Bonnes can understand him anyway. They too are seeking refractor crystals but they steal from others and only want to become rich. What first appears to be a straightforward task of repairing the Flutter becomes much more as these ruins are revealed to be related to the so called "Main Gate", a place feared by the residents of the island because of a legend that a mysterious being lurks within.
